Obama adviser resigns after comment

An adviser from Barack Obama's camp has resigned after calling Hillary Clinton a monster.

A campaign official told The Associated Press Friday that Samantha Power's resignation is effective immediately.

Power told The Scotsman that Clinton is a "monster" who will stoop to anything to win. She tried to make the remark off the record, but the Scottish newspaper printed it anyway. She apologized in a statement and the campaign decried the remark.

Power is a foreign policy adviser to Obama and a Pulitzer Prize winner.

Rihanna the life saver

The twenty year old singer has helped a New York City mother find a successful bone marrow donor. The woman Lisa Flynn 41, was blown away that Rihanna would take the time to try to find a donor match for her. Rihanna was trilled to take on the challenge.

"When I heard about Lisa [Gershowitz Flynn]'s plight, my heart broke." "I said, ‘I need to get the word out about Lisa right away.' "

She adds: "My own charity, Believe, works specifically with children in need [and with children with leukemia]. Children need their mothers more than anything else in the world. Lisa has two children. My charity will continue to work with DKMS, because in finding a way to save Lisa's life, we will in turn be saving her children's lives."

What can't Rihanna do, seriously. She's everywhere and doing everything. It's good to see she's using her celebrity to help others. Congrats to Lisa.

Timbaland featuring One Republic: Apologize

I can not stop playing this song.

Yay Team Christian!!!

Ok, so finally someone that I rooted for won Project Runway. Maryland native Christian Soriano was crowned the winner of season 4 last night. Usually my pick makes it to Fashion week but then falls short of winning. Thankfully the Prject Runway Gods smiled on me, lol. At first I was skeptical of Miss Christian and his flair for the dramatics but in the end she gave the girls what they wanted and killed it. He's only 21....watch out world. Check out his winning collection below.

Introducing: Vanessa Fraction

Warning: Explicit Language

In case you didn't know, Brett Favre retired yesterday after 17 seasons of handling balls......

I can't believe the old man actually retired. He's been threatening to leave the game behind for years. I guess he's finally ready. I'm kind of sad. I'll miss him and his antics on the field. Now if only the football God's can grant me a Tom Brady retirement I'd give them my first born. Suck it Boston!!! No one likes a cheater.

From the WTF files:

NATICK, Mass. - A child's birthday party at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant was cut short after a fight broke out between two mothers. Natick police said the mom of the 9-year-old birthday boy apparently became enraged because the other woman's son was "hogging" an arcade game.

Sgt. Paul Thompson said Catherine Aliaga, 38, and Tarsha Williams, 33, both of Boston, would be summoned into court to answer charges of simple assault and battery stemming from the scuffle.

Thompson told the MetroWest Daily News that police received a number of 911 calls about the fight Saturday night.

He said what started as a birthday celebration turned into a "birthday melee."

This ish right here, this ish right here... Y'all know that was us (black folk) up in the Mouse House wrecking. Why Tarsha why!! Fist fighting at Chucky Cheese makes them the @ssholes of the week. What is the world coming to!! Kiddies can't even eat their pizza, play games and beat up Chucky in peace anymore.

MTV bans Gnarles Barkley

The video for Gnarls Barkley's new single, "Run," may feature a cameo from Justin Timberlake, but it's still not quite ready to air on MTV.

That's because of its strobe effects, which caused the clip to fail the Harding Test -- guidelines established to prevent TV images from triggering epileptic seizures.

However, the video is available on various online outlets, and Gnarls Barkley member Danger Mouse was hopeful the situation could be resolved shortly.

"I don't know exactly what's going on, but we're having issues. I think (the video) is cool. It works for me. But I'm not necessarily that easily seasick," he told Billboard.com. "We can't predict how people are going to interpret it."

"Run" centers around the fictional public access TV show "City Vibin"' and is set in the early '90s. Timberlake appears as the host of the program, on which Danger Mouse and fellow Gnarls Barkley principal Cee-Lo then perform the track.

With its new album, "The Odd Couple," nearing its April 8 release date, Gnarls Barkley are about to shoot a video for the second single, "Who's Gonna Save My Soul."

The group is also rehearsing for summer tour dates, which include a July 27 (my b'day!!!) show at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl and both U.S. and European festivals.

"We didn't plan last time to do a whole bunch, and we don't plan to do a whole bunch this time, but you just never know how it's going to feel until you go out there," Danger Mouse said.

Here's the vid, enjoy.

First Post

Well here it goes....

Hello World, I've finally decided to take the plunge and start my own blog. Now I have no idea what to say, lol. I guess I can start off with things that I like. I love this game.

Every Sunday from September until February you can find me sitting in front of my t.v. enjoying my Directv: NFL Sunday ticket. I love sports period. I'll watch any sport except GOLF, BOWLING and POOL. I do not consider those activities sports. They are things to do when there aren't enough people around to play real sports.

I love anything that has to do with comedy and making me laugh.

I dig movies... a lot of movies. I just saw 300 last weekend, yeah I know I'm late SUCK IT and shut up, lol. My fav movies are.... well there are too many to name. Just click on my profile. I don't have all day to list all of them, jeez I am still at work, lol.

I love fashion. If its cute and it fits I'll wear it. Fashion is what you put together not how much you pay for something. One thing for sure I'll never pay 300 bones for a pair of jeans. Are these jeans magical? Do they come with a shirt, a pair of shoes.... If not keep them bishes.

Music... Ahhh music, I love it. I think everyone should have their own them song when they walk into a room. When you see Beyonce or as I like to call her Bootyonce you'd hear Crazy in Love. When you see Michael Jackson you'd hear Thriller because of his face but also because that was his best selling album. My song would be f@%k out of here with that bullsh!t h0e, I ain't the one. If you've never heard of it it's ok. If you hang around me you'll here it a lot, trust me.

Ok, I have some work to do so I'm gonna have to cut this f&%kery short. Until the inbox on my desk is empty again..... deuces!!!
